About Our Team of Voiceover Artists, Our Company and Our Services 

Established in 1996 to provide on sight promotions for the real estate industry, Please Hold expanded into the fast growing custom on-hold messaging and business voicemail recording industry. 

The president of the company, Dan Kennedy, brought nearly 30 years of broadcasting and commercial production services experience on board. His background as a commercial radio station general manager, program director, music director and senior production manager was an ideal background from which to form a new company specializing in on hold advertising, interactive voicemail recording (IVR) and providing quality voiceover talent to help companies gain a professional edge.

With such a wide variety of skills and experience, moving into the on hold messaging and business voicemail recording industry was a natural progression; he viewed the opportunity as enticing, noting that numerous businesses were missing out on potential profits.

Dan and his wife Kathy are President and Vice President of the company operating from an office and production studio in Columbia County in Northwest Oregon. The satellite office in Canby, Oregon near Portland is managed by Donna Jenkins. Donna is Please Hold's Sales Manager and future partner / owner. Her background in marketing, sales and broadcasting adds even more depth to our in-house voiceover talent and marketing services.

Please Hold also contracts some of the best voiceover talent in the world! Our Voice Choice services feature 30 or so highly experienced National and International voice artists who can deliver our customers content with world class professionalism. From traditional announcer styles to special accents, languages and character presentations, Please Hold has the voiceover artist our customers need for any project of any size.

The Canby office is also equipped with a digital production facility allowing Please Hold to provide our customers with quick turnaround for your projects including on hold messaging, voicemail recording and a variety of other services.
