CHRIS TAYLOR
At the age of 14 Chris was put in front of microphone at the radio studios of KGW in Portland, OR as an interpretive reader for the award winning 30 minute public affairs program Open Door. It eventually launched him into the radio business these past 30 years. Chris recently spent 10 plus years as the radio morning show host for 105.9 The Wave along the southern Oregon Coast. Chris has worked at a number radio stations, mostly in Portland OR.
These days Chris along with his wife Barb Hughes, run the Hughes/Taylor Company in Portland.
Chris has voiced narrations for multimedia presentations for clients all over the world, plus radio and TV commercials, In-Theater voice overs, other non-broadcast voice work including a Jumbo-Tron in Houston, Texas.
Chris' sound ranges from friendly announcer to warm and elegant to a younger tech savvy voice.
Chris is one of the signature voices for Standard TV & Appliance's radio and TV commercials (more than 20 years with this company)
Chris has also been seen on TV commercials like Oil Can Henry's, in print ads and acting in a DVD training film.
