Donna Jenkins

Donna spent 20 years as an outside sales rep in various industries before discovering her “voice”. She had sold an on hold messaging system to a client and they asked her to voice their program. Two years later, that same company started doing television ads, and asked Donna to be their voice. The producer at the station recommended Donna to audition for another client to be their spokesperson. It was a success! For seven years Donna was “THE Voice” of Pacific Lifestyle Homes, as the Marketing Vice President was so fond of calling her.

Three of those 20 years in sales was spent as a radio ad salesperson and in addition to selling “air time”, she voiced many, many different ads; guest hosted a live call-in talk show; created a weekly gardening program; created her own radio program that aired once a week for about one year: “Time In – Ways To Spend Time In The Moment With Your Kids” ~ all of which gave her vast amounts of experience.

This is a little known fact; Donna’s greatest voicing feat is also her greatest voicing disappointment! She auditioned in a national search to voice a six part film series for a well known motivational speaker. AND GOT IT! But then … the project was pulled and just as fast as she landed it, it was gone. Ahhhh … bless the days of looking back.

It has been said ‘do not despise the days of small beginnings’, and even though Donna got a late start, not discovering her “gift” until mid 30’s, she knows in her knower that professional voicing, both on and off camera, is part of the very reason she was put here.
